Hannover have their eyes set on Eintracht Frankfurt’s exciting prospect Antonio Foti, according to Kicker.
The 18-year-old Cyprus youth international is an up-and-coming forward and may get the chance to develop more if he goes to 2. Bundesliga side Hannover. Foti has yet to make his breakthrough in senior football but this may change if he was to apply his trade in the second division.
The club’s Managing Director, Martin Kind said: “We can imagine him as a prospective player.”
Foti moved from Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia to Frankfurt in 2020. The Eagles signed the youngster after being impressed by his youth team record. In 19 appearances Foti scored 17 goals and provided six assists.
It’s clear that the Bulgarian-Cypriot has an eye for goal and may just be one to watch in the next few seasons.
Perhaps the name Foti may one day become synonymous with either Eintracht Frankfurt or Hannover.
