According to Kicker, Hamburg are set to sign a duo of players in the coming weeks including central midfielder Lászlo Bénes from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The 24-year-old Slovakian international is under contract at Gladbach until 2024 but is set to move to HSV in the 2. Bundesliga due to a lack of playing time.
It’s reported that Bénes will play a much more important role as Hamburg look to finally climb out of the second division and back into the Bundesliga.
Kicker believes that Bénes could be announced as an HSV player as early as this week.
Other reinforcements are due to come to HSV in the coming weeks.
This includes Dynamo Dresden striker Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer who has been in contract with Hamburg with a number of weeks.
The 20-year-old scored five goals and created five assists last season but couldn’t stop Dresden from being relegated to the 3. Liga.
Königsdörffer has already committed himself to HSV and also looks set to join Bénes in the 2. Bundesliga.
Hamburg’s intentions are clear to see and their squad for next season is starting to take shape.
