Robin Hack has commented on reports suggesting that Stuttgart, Juventus and Bologna showed interest in him during the summer.
In what turned out to be a disappointing 2023/24 season for Borussia Mönchengladbach, Robin Hack was one of the bright spots, scoring 10 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances following his move from Arminia Bielefeld.
His performances reportedly caught the eye of other clubs, with VfB Stuttgart, Juventus and Bologna all linked with him over the summer.
However, the 26-year-old winger never really considered leaving Gladbach, as he explains in an interview with Bild.
“Of course I’ve followed all this, that’s clear. I’m honored,” said Hack.
“I didn’t come to Gladbach to leave after one year. I still have a lot of plans here and I want to leave my mark. It’s a great club where I feel very comfortable.
“The start wasn’t easy, but things went really well for me in the second half of the season,” he said.
After an injury hampered his pre-season, Hack made his first Bundesliga appearance of the season against Bochum on Matchday 2, coming on for 22 minutes in Gladbach’s 2-0 win.
His contract expires in the summer of 2027.
