In addition to Thomas Müller, Ilkay Gündogan will not be called up for Germany’s matches this month, according to Sky Germany.
According to the German media outlet, the main reason is that the Manchester City player will become a father for the first time in the near future.
The 32-year-old’s relationship with Germany coach Hansi Flick is said to be excellent and he wants to continue representing his country.
Gündogan has 66 caps to his name, having scored 17 goals and provided seven assists.
