RB Leipzig will be without their captain and first-choice goalkeeper against Union Berlin this Saturday.
At a press conference before the game, Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco confirmed that Peter Gulacsi will miss out.
“He has a minor adductor muscle injury,” revealed Tedesco, adding that Gulacsi will not play “as a precautionary measure”.
“This means Janis Blaswich will be in goal,” said the Leipzig coach.
31-year-old Blaswich joined Leipzig from Heracles on a free transfer ahead of this season.
