Guerreiro to stay at Dortmund after all?

According to Bild, there is still a chance that Raphael Guerreiro will stay at Borussia Dortmund.

For a long time, it looked as if Raphael Guerreiro would leave Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer. Tactical considerations, however, could provide an opportunity for a change of heart.

According to Bild, Guerreiro could still have a future at Dortmund, only not as a left-back, but in central midfield, where he played with great success against Schalke 04.

The change of position would be made possible by the signing of Ramy Bensebaini from Gladbach. The deal hasn’t been announced yet, but is said to be agreed by all parties.

In any case, the 29-year-old Guerreiro would have to agree on a new contract with the BVB bosses in order to stay.
