Robin Gosens will miss Union Berlin’s upcoming games against Bochum and FC Köln due to an injury.

Union Berlin suffered an injury blow in Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid, as Robin Gosens suffered an injury.

On Friday, head coach Nenad Bjelica confirmed that the Germany international will miss the last two matches of 2023 against VfL Bochum and FC Köln.

“Unfortunately, he’s going to have to go into the winter break,” Bjelica said at a press conference on Friday.

“We hope that he will be able to return to training on January 2, but that is not yet certain. It’s too early to make a final judgement on his injury.”

Sheraldo Becker could replace Gosens on the left wing, where the natural full-back has been playing recently.
