Leon Goretzka has made it clear that he wants to stay at Bayern Munich beyond the summer.
Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka has been linked with a move away from the club.
However, the midfielder himself is not interested in leaving the Bavarians.
“From my point of view, everything is clear: My contract runs until 2026 and there is no reason to think about leaving,” Goretzka told Sport Bild.
Having previously struggled for a starting berth, Leon Goretzka has emerged as a regular starter in central midfield with Bayern’s Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid just around the corner.
“Right now it’s all about the semifinal against Real Madrid. It will be a big challenge. After that, we’ll see what awaits us in the final,” said Goretzka.
