According to a report from L’Équipe, Goduine Koyalipou (24) is set to arrive in RC Lens from CSKA Sofia. The French outlet writes that the striker arrives for a €2 million fee on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The striker who represented France in the under-age brackets but now plays for the Central African Republic, developed in the Niort academy system, where he made his professional debut as a Ligue 2 player. Koyalipou left France in 2021 to join Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland. He then made the move to the Belgian club SK Beveren, before arriving in Sofia.
Koyalipou soon to become first signing for Lens
Koyalipou will soon become the first signing to arrive this winter for the Northern club after it was announced that the loan for Pau López (30) had been cancelled. Lens and parent club Olympique de Marseille had reached an agreement, while Lens had even sent out an official announcement. However, the deal was cancelled due to Girona’s requirement to keep the goalkeeper until January 29th.
