Gio Reyna returns to the Borussia Dortmund squad for the first time this season.
The American has missed around two months with a leg injury, picked up on international duty in June, and has missed the whole of pre-season with the Bundesliga club. Reyna last played for BVB on the final day of last season, a draw against Mainz, but travelled with the Dortmund squad to France ahead of their Champions League game against PSG.
Although unlikely to start on Tuesday night, Reyna returned to training on August 24 for Dortmund. The 20-year-old remains an option for Edin Terzić, who relishes the upcoming game against PSG.
Drawn alongside PSG, Newcastle United and Milan, Dortmund face a difficult task getting out of their group, but will want to better their result of last season’s competition, exiting at the Round of 16 stage to Chelsea.
Because of long-term injuries, Thomas Meunier and Mateu Morey haven’t been nominated in Dortmund’s squad for the group stages of the Champions League. Julien Duranville has also returned to training, but won’t be available tomorrow.
