Gianluigi Donnarumma insulted by Milan fan following Italy’s game againast England

Paris Saint-Germain and Italy internattional Gianluigi Donnarumma was insulted by a Milan fan following Gli Azzurri’s game against England.

La Repubblica claim that the incident took place after the game at Molineux in Wolverhampton yesterday. A fan – a Milan fan, had essentially camouflaged himself with the fans who were looking to get Donnarumma’s autograph outside the stadium just in front of the Italian national team’s bus.

The Milan fan abused Donnarumma and insulted the goalkeeper as Donnarumma was about to get inside the team bus. An argument did take place between the two after the PSG man realised that he had heard enough. But the argument made sure that the fan stopped abusing Donnarumma. After the incident, a member of the Italian national team staff hugged Donnarumma, who dismissed the whole episode as ‘nonsense’.

The goalkeeper had left Milan for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in controversial circumstances last summer.
