Serie A side Genoa have established contact with Wolves for striker Fabio Silva.
According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, Genoa have returned to pursuing Wolves’ Fabio Silva after making inquiries about him last December.
The 22-year-old started out his career with Porto and he impressed so much there that Wolves materialised a €40 million transfer in 2020 to bring him into their ranks.
Silva has a contract with the Premier League side for two more years and his club will be willing to offload him as he has struggled with breaking out into the team. The Ligurians value the Portuguese man, who can play as a central striker and a winger.
This transfer could trigger Nico Gonzalez’s move to Juventus and Albert Gudmundsson could land at Fiorentina. Genoa tried to go for Giovanni Simeone but Napoli put an end to the negotiations about a potential loan deal.
