TSG Hoffenheim have announced that Dennis Geiger has suffered another injury setback.
The central midfielder, who had just returned from a long spell on the sidelines, suffered a thigh injury in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Werder Bremen.
“It’s very bitter and emotional for him. But he’ll get through it, I’m absolutely sure of that,” said Hoffenheim head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.
“Dennis is a fighter, he will come back stronger and perform om the pitch again.”
