According to Wales Online journalist Glen Williams, Wales captain Gareth Bale visited Cardiff City’s training base this morning and spoke with club manager Steve Morison for the first time.
The Championship side have held talks with the player’s representatives in recent weeks.
The report adds that Bale reported at the club’s Vale of Glamorgan HQ this morning to undertake some physio work with the FAW’s medical staff.
The former Real Madrid forward has offers from elsewhere as he looks to find a new club to stay fit ahead of the 2022 World Cup with Wales this winter.
Bale has reportedly told his hometown club, Cardiff, that he will make a decision on his future in the coming days.
He leaves Real Madrid with five Champions League titles, three La Liga championships and a Copa del Rey.
His nine-year spell at the Santiago Bernabéu came to an end recently and he is now looking for the fourth club of his senior career at the age of 32.
