Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo is on the verge of signing for Monaco after rejecting Tottenham move

AS Monaco are on the verge of bolstering their defensive options with the arrival of Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo (25), according to a report this Sunday from Foot Mercato. The 25-year-old would numerically replace Axel Disasi, who signed for Chelsea FC in a €45m deal. The Englishman was entering his final contract year with the Cottagers. The French publication understands that Tottenham Hotspur are still trying to hijack Adarabioyo’s move to the Principality and that Fulham have assigned brokers and agents to materialize his move to North London.

However, the Englishman have already agreed to join AS Monaco. Foot Mercato reports that the Ligue 1 side and their Premier League counterparts are edging ever closer to an agreement. The French publication understands that both the involved parties are confident the move will happen. Adarabioyo would be the third signing of the Adi Hütter era at Monaco after the arrivals of goalkeeper Philipp Köhn and centre-back Mohammed Salisu. The Principality club are also in the running to sign Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria and Santos prospect Deivid Washington.
