After a difficult loan spell at OGC Nice, during which he failed to establish himself in the first team, Valentin Rosier (28) has got his career back on track at Leganés. The Frenchman joined the Spanish side on a free transfer at the start of the season on a one-year deal.
However, an extension is not on the cards. Available on a free transfer, the full-back is garnering interest, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The defender, who came through the ranks at Rodez, is the subject of interest from an unnamed Ligue 1 side that are currently riding high in the league.
However, the soon-to-be free agent may have plenty of choice regarding his next destination. Foot Mercato understands that Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt are also in the race to sign the former France youth international. Able to play at full-back or at wing-back, Rosier’s versatility is coveted by clubs across Europe.
