Fulham agree Oscar Bobb deal as Marco Silva secures replacement for Adama Traore

Fulham have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign winger Oscar Bobb in a deal worth an initial £27 million.

The transfer represents a significant move for the club as they look to reshape their wide options ahead of the second half of the season.

Man City will retain a 20 percent sell-on clause and matching rights if Fulham accept a future bid for the Norway international.

Bobb is expected to undergo a medical shortly, with the move likely to be completed in time for the weekend.

Fulham view the 22-year-old as a direct replacement for Adama Traore, who has departed Craven Cottage to join West Ham United.

His arrival also provides important depth amid uncertainty surrounding Harry Wilson, who is out of contract at the end of the campaign.

Manager Marco Silva has prioritised technical wide players comfortable operating on either flank, a profile Bobb fits closely.

The winger’s pathway at Manchester City narrowed considerably following further attacking reinforcements this month.

Bobb has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season, starting only five Premier League matches.

Injuries also disrupted his momentum, including a recent hamstring issue suffered in December.

Bobb previously endured a prolonged absence due to a broken leg, limiting his involvement throughout much of last season.

Despite those setbacks, he remains highly regarded for his close control, intelligence between the lines and ability to operate in tight spaces.

Bobb made 47 senior appearances for City, scoring three goals.

They have raised funds in recent windows through exits including James McAtee, Kyle Walker and Ederson.

Bobb arrives at Fulham with elite-level experience despite his age and should be afforded greater responsibility in a less crowded attacking unit.
