Fulham are on the verge of completing a permanent transfer for Chelsea forward Tyrique George, according to reports from The Athletic.
Marco Silva’s side have had a relatively quiet summer in the market, but they are now working to bring in reinforcements before the window closes.
The west London club are keen to build on their 11th-place finish in the 2024/25 campaign and are aiming for a stronger top-half push.
A package worth around £22 million has been agreed for George. The deal also includes a sell-on clause.
Fulham already have terms in place with the 19-year-old academy product on a five-year contract. A medical is expected to take place soon.
George’s rise at Chelsea

George signed a new deal at Chelsea in June 2024, keeping him tied to the club until the summer of 2027. Despite that, he is now set for a switch across London.
The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough season under Enzo Maresca last year, playing 26 matches in all competitions. He scored three goals and became an important part of the squad.
He was also involved in every fixture of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League journey, with the exception of the final against Real Betis.
His contributions highlighted his progress and growing reputation at the club.
George made his first appearance of the new season on Saturday when he came on as a substitute for Liam Delap. However, he was replaced later in the game by Andrey Santos.
One of his most notable appearances last term came in Chelsea’s controversial 2-0 win against Fulham, where his display further showed his quality.

A fresh challenge at Fulham

Fulham see George as a player with potential to strengthen their forward options and inject energy into their attack.
With Silva seeking to improve his squad depth, the youngster could be given the chance to secure more regular football at Craven Cottage.
The signing shows Fulham’s intent to make the most of the last days of the transfer window, as they prepare to move higher up the table this season.
