Gianluca Di Marzio reports today that Bundesliga duo Freiburg and Hoffenheim are interested in signing Wilfried Gnonto.
The 18-year-old made his debut for Italy against Germany on Saturday night and also has interest from Royal Antwerp and Sassuolo, the latter of which made an approach for further information.
Currently playing for FC Zürich, Gnonto scored eight and created three as André Breitenreiter’s side went on to lift the Swiss Super League.
Breitenreiter has since been appointed head coach of Hoffenheim and thus improving their chances of signing the Italian forward.
Gnonto is entering the final year of his contract.
