Center-back Evan Ndicka and attacker Daichi Kamada are both on the last year of their respective contracts. Sporting Director Markus Krösche explained to Sport Bild that the club would like to extend their stars:
“Both have an offer from our side. Now we are waiting for feedback. We are in contact and in talks with the players and consultants. It’s up to them now. We both said how much we would like to continue working with them and how we see them in key roles for the future.”
Several Italian clubs have Ndicka on their radar, as it’s still unclear what decision either player will decide to make.
