Shortly after the blockbuster signing of Mario Götze, Eintracht Frankfurt are about to introduce their next high-value signing. Stephan van Nocks of German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Leverkusen striker Lucas Alario is on his way to the country’s commercial capital.
According to van Nocks, the 29-year-old’s €6.5 million contractual exit clause will not be paid all at once. Markus Krösche and the SGE administrative team have worked out a deal whereupon part of the sum will flow to the B04 coffers later if performance incentives are met.
Alario’s new working papers with Eintracht shall run through 2024. The Argentine international has 42 Bundesliga goals to his credit since transferring to die Werkself in 2017.
