Jacques Ekomié’s strong performances this season for SCO Angers have attracted attention from clubs in the Bundesliga.
According to exclusive information from Fußball Transfers, both Hamburger SV and Eintracht Frankfurt have made inquiries.
In addition to the Bundesliga duo, Başakşehir and Trabzonspor, as well as French first-division side LOSC Lille, have also shown interest.
However, Angers will be reluctant to let their key player leave, so it remains to be seen how they will react to initial offers for the left-back.
HSV desperately need cover for Miro Muheim, whereas Frankfurt’s case is slightly different given they signed Keita Kosugi just weeks ago.
Furthermore, the Hessen club also have the impressive Nathaniel Brown at left-back, while Arthur Theate can even play in that position.
Ekomié has started 12 of his 17 competitive matches this season and also represented his native Gabon at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite their disappointing group stage exit, the 22-year-old played every single minute of all their matches in Morocco.
