The French FA has officially submitted bids to host the Europa League finals in 2028 or 2029. UEFA has confirmed on Friday that 15 football associations across Europe have submitted bids to host UEFA club competition finals. The final proposals must be delivered with the bid dossiers by 10 June 2026. The UEFA Executive Committee will appoint the host associations of the finals in September 2026.
France have submitted several bid dossiers to host the 2028 and 2029 Europa League finals with Paris’ Parc des Princes and Lyon’s Groupama Stadium. Les Gones‘ ground has also bid to host the 2028 or 2029 UEFA Women’s Champions League final. The French FA has also submitted a bid to host the 2028 or 2029 UEFA Conference League final in France, at Lille’s Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
France hasn’t hosted a UEFA club competition final since the disastrous 2022 Champions League final at Stade de France.
