Former Real Madrid head coach Fabio Capello has this week aimed criticism in the direction of Barcelona boss Hansi Flick.
This comes owing to the German’s approach in his side’s recent meeting with Inter Milan.
Barcelona of course made the trip to Italy this past Tuesday, for the 2nd leg of a Champions League semi-final tie with Serie A champions Inter.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana were condemned to the wrong side of a 4-3 result, sent packing from Europe as a result.
Post-match, Hansi Flick, for one, was quick to point the finger of blame for his side’s defeat at referee Szymon Marciniak:
“Every 50/50 decision that the ref had, he called it in Inter’s favor,“ the German boldly stated.
As allude above, though, of the opinion that Flick should have looked a little closer to home when searching for reasons is legendary tactician and former Real Madrid headmaster Fabio Capello.
Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, in quotes relaid by Mundo Deportivo, Capello revealed his opinion that:
“Inzaghi took advantage of his opportunities well, while Flick was still playing one-on-one with one minute remaining… a bit presumptuous.”
