Footballers’ association reveal Bundesliga team, player, coach and newcomer of the season

The Association of Professional Footballers in Germany (VDV) has voted for their team, player, newcomer and coach for the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. Here are the results.

Jude Bellingham has been voted the VDV Player of the Season 2022/2023 by his fellow professionals in Germany.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder received 29.6 percent of the votes cast in the German players’ association’s annual poll, securing the “Silver Boot” as the Bundesliga’s best player.

He was followed by Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani (28.6 percent) and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala (13.7 percent).

In the race for the “Silver Coach’s Bench” for the best Bundesliga coach of the season, Urs Fischer (34.1 percent) came out on top ahead of Freiburg’s Christian Streich (22.2 percent) and Dortmund’s Edin Terzic (14.6 percent).

Randal Kolo Muani was selected as the newcomer of the season with 56.3 percent of the votes.

Joshua Kimmich, Bayern (45.2 percent)

Jude Bellingham, Dortmund (76.9 percent)
Alphonso Davies, Bayern (38.2 percent)

Jamal Musiala, Bayern (65.3 percent)

Niclas Füllkrug, Werder Bremen (57.3 percent)
Randal Kolo Muani, Frankfurt (73.4 percent)
