Germany coach Hansi Flick has eased worries over Lukas Klostermann’s availability at the World Cup after the defender was taken off after 30 minutes of yesterday’s 1-0 friendly win over Oman.
“The substitution of Lukas Klostermann after 30 minutes was planned,” Flick confirmed after the game.
Klostermann has spent the majority of this season on the sidelines with a ruptured syndesmotic ligament injury and has featured just twice for Leipzig this term.
The versatile defender has featured a total of 19 times for Germany.
