Fiorentina interested in Roma’s Edoardo Bove

Serie A side Fiorentina have made an inquiry about Roma’s Edoardo Bove.

According to a report by Firenzeviola.it, Fiorentina have evaluated the option of landing Edoardo Bove this summer following contacts with Roma. The Viola have emerged on the front foot after the Giallorossi lowered their demands for the player.

Rafaelle Palladino wants to have a strong midfield for the new season as wants to make the club successful both in the league and in Europe.

Roma started negotiations with an asking price of €20 million but have decreased it to €12-13 million now. The figures seem to be well within the financial capability of the Florence-based side as they are expected to submit an official bid soon.

Bove played a regular role for the Italian capital side last season, featuring in 45 matches, scoring once and assisting twice across all competitions.

Fiorentina recently secured the signing of Tanner Tessmann, and they aim to pair him up with the Italian international team for the next campaign.
