Serie A side Fiorentina are in talks with Monza for the potential signing of Andrea Colpani this summer.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Fiorentina have set out to fulfil the request of new manager Rafaelle Palladino, who has specifically asked the club to sign Monza’s Andrea Colpani ahead of the new season.
The Viola have started negotiations by offering a loan deal with an option to buy set at €14 million. They are willing to go up to €17 million to bridge the gap which may arise out of Monza’s demands.
Fiorentina see Colpani as an economical long-term investment as he can earn them rich dividends through a future sale and by delivering exemplary performances in the meantime. Palladino’s vision is to alternate the 25-year-old with Nico Gonzalez on the right wing and he wants to use the versatility of the player also.
The deal is expected to be concluded soon as the Biancorossi’s asking price is nearly met by Fiorentina. Negotiations with the player will begin as soon as the two clubs reach an agreement.
