Sport1 report that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostić has agreed a three-year contract with Juventus.
The 29-year-old will earn a salary of €2.5m whilst the Bianconeri are readying an initial offer of a reported €12.5m. Per the report, Eintracht Frankfurt want €20m for Kostić, who is entering the final year of his contract, meaning a transfer of around €17m-€18m could be the final figure.
Kostić scored 33 and created 63 in 169 games for Eintracht Frankfurt since joining the Hessian club from Hamburg in 2019 for €6m. The Serbia international was the driving force behind Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League win against Rangers, influential in the quarter-final against Barcelona.
Per the report, SGE will not put any obstacles in the way of Kostić joining Juventus with this summer the last opportunity for Die Adler to collect a transfer fee given his contract expiring in 2023. The Bundesliga side had presented Kostić with a contract extension.
The Serbian could be one of three key players leaving this summer with Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka both having contracts that expire next summer.
