Felix Nmecha could fill the void left by the departure of Jude Bellingham in Borussia Dortmund’s midfield.
Borussia Dortmund are interested in Wolfsburg midfielder Felix Nmecha, according to AZ, Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung and Ruhr Nachrichten.
Although the talks aren’t “very advanced” yet, it’s claimed that the 22-year-old Wolfsburg midfielder is “definitely” on the radar of the Black and Yellows.
Nmecha could arrive as a replacement for Jude Bellingham, who is heading to Real Madrid, as Dortmund confirmed yesterday.
The 22-year-old midfielder emerged as a regular starter for Wolfsburg last season, scoring three goals and providing six assists in 30 appearances. He also made his full international debut for Germany in March.
In addition to Nmecha, who has just one year left on his current contract, Dortmund are also reportedly looking to strengthen their midfield with the defensive-minded Edson Alvarez from Ajax.
