According to Bild, FC Köln have set their sights on Youssoufa Moukoko in their search for a new number nine.
Köln could tempt Moukoko with the prospect of more first-team football than he’s currently getting at Signal Iduna Park.
Battling with Niclas Füllkrug and Sebastien Haller for playing time, Moukoko has made just one start this season and has played just 240 minutes of football in 11 appearances.
The Billy Goats were already linked with a move for Moukoko in the summer, but the 18-year-old ultimately stayed put.
Köln have made a poor start to the season, sitting in 17th place in the Bundesliga with just six points.
Steffen Baumgart’s side have scored just nine Bundesliga goals, fewer than any other team in the division.
