Fatal Four Way Title Match Confirmed for WWE WrestleMania 41

WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania 41 with a handful of RAW and SmackDown programmes to air before the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’ arrives in Las Vegas. The biggest date in the PPV schedule unquestionably will see Cody Rhodes defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena. This match will be the main event of Night Two, while Night One’s big match sees CM Punk face Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat.

Before the April 7th taping of RAW in Minneapolis, Minnesota, there were still some gaps in the card that needed filling. For example, the Women’s Tag Team Championship match had still been undecided, as well as the Women’s Intercontinental Title encounter. As far as the Men’s Intercontinental Championship was concerned, the current champion Bron Breakker did not have an opponent, until now.

Not only will Breakker have to contend with one opponent across the ring from him in Las Vegas – make that three. WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce officially announced, via WrestleMania on X, that he will compete in a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way match to retain his crown. It has not yet been confirmed which night this match will take place on.

Breakker will defend his Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania against Penta, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. All three of his challengers have been gunning for him in recent episodes of RAW. With both Mysterio and Balor facing each other, this could mean a case of betrayal in the Judgment Day. ‘Dirty Dom’ has been actively looking for new members, initially offering the invitation to Penta. Balor asserted to the Mexican superstar that no new members are allowed.

Bron Breakker to retain

This match could essentially be a fork in the road for every superstar involved. There is a great opportunity for each superstar involved to go off and continue their storyline towards SummerSlam. It makes sense for Breakker to retain his title for several reasons. The first one being Penta, while he’ll look strong in this match, will have bigger fish to fry. This is due to the arrival of one superstar – Ray Fenix. There’s a strong chance we could see the ‘Battle of the Masks’ as WWE moves through the calendar year, with the two possibly forming a legendary rivalry.

It’s not the first that division has struck the ranks of the Judgment Day, and it could happen again at WrestleMania. Balor turned on Damien Priest at SummerSlam which cost him the World Heavyweight Title to Gunther. We could see interference from him as well as a split in the camp between either Mysterio or Balor. Liv Morgan will not be too pleased seeing members of the faction in the same match. Plus, could the hints of further recruitment grow in Las Vegas?
