Jose Mourinho would like to refurbish Roma with some notable signings in the approaching summer transfer window. But a move for Adnan Januzaj remains unlikely.
According to journalist Francesco Balzani, Adnan Januzaj’s hunt for a new club has seen his agent knocking on the doors of Roma as the player would reportedly like to join Jose Mourinho’s side. But the Giallorossi remain unenthusiastic in making a move for the former Manchester United star.
Roma might lose Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer on a free transfer this summer, with Inter ramping up their efforts to land the 33-year-old.
As per the report, Tiago Pinto has identified more high-profile candidates in Paulo Dybala and Gonçalo Guedes as preferred replacements for the wantaway Armenian.
If he fails in their attempt to land any of the two first-choice targets, Roma could look to sign Januzaj, who could be interested in replacing one of Stephan El Shaarawy and Carles Perez this summer.
Like Januzaj, Jesse Lingard, another soon-to-be free agent, prefers a summer move to Roma, where his compatriots in Tammy Abraham and Chris Smalling have settled in pretty well after making a similar move from the Premier League.
