Mainz 05’s coach Urs Fischer is satisfied with a point against HSV.

Urs Fischer saw his Mainz team draw against Hamburger SV on the day he celebrated his 60th birthday. Although they were the ones who took the lead before half-time, the former Union Berlin coach was more pleased about how his team played in the second-half.
“HSV played really good football for the first 30 minutes,” Fischer said in his post-match interview as Daniel Batz was the busiest goalkeeper before Nadiem Amiri put the hosts in front with a fine goal.
“From the 30th minute, the game was different. I saw my team playing well for the remaining 60 minutes. In the end, we conceded an unfortunate goal. However, we still had opportunities to score the second goal.
“However, we added another point to our account. Every point can help us in the end. We must live with the point accordingly.”
Mainz, who lost to Borussia Dortmund 4-0 the previous week, will face tricky games against Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart before another six-pointer away at Bremen.
