Jude Bellingham is having a sensational start to life at Real Madrid, something that former team-mate Erling Haaland recognised after El Clásico this weekend.
Bellingham scored a brace to win the Clásico for Real Madrid away to Barcelona on Saturday. The England international came to the rescue and restored Carlo Ancelotti’s team to the top of the table after Girona went three points clear with their win over Celta Vigo on Friday night.
It is now 13 goals and three assists in his first 13 games in a Real Madrid shirt and Haaland took to Instagram after Bellingham scored a stunner to equalise for Los Blancos, with a video of Bellingham striking the ball for his first goal and the caption, “Unreal this guy”.
The pair played together at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund before leaving on separate paths to become two of the best players in world football.
