Speaking at a press conference today with the French U21 national team, reported on by Breton daily Le Télégramme, Lorient midfielder Enzo Le Fée has confirmed that he intends to leave Les Merlus at the end of the season.
The Frenchman, who was linked with a move in the January transfer window to Bournemouth – with whom Lorient now share a stakeholder – explains that he was expecting a contract extension offer from his formative club, which never came. Now, he says, he is no longer expecting anything from the club and has no intention of extending his stay.
With his contract expiring at the end of next year, Le Fée has added that he hopes to leave this summer in order to bring some money to the Breton side, who have impressed this season and are only six points off the European positions – having been in second place to PSG during the autumn.
