Serie A side Empoli are interested in the possibility of signing Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser.
Fraser, who hasn’t had a great time at Newcastle United since joining after his exit from Bournemouth, is on the fringes of the club’s project and the club is looking to move the Scotsman on this summer.
Sky Italia state today that Empoli are interested in the 29-year-old Scotsman, who has had issues with Eddie Howe, who also managed him during his time at Bournemouth. Empoli are looking to sign him on a loan deal this summer and are willing to contribute to 50 percent of his wages in what they want to be a free loan, which will not involve payment of a fee.
Fraser made eight Premier League appearances last season and was even playing for the club’s reserves side, where he featured once and scored once. Since October last year, he hasn’t played for the Magpies’ first team.
