Niels Nkounkou has struggled to secure a starting berth at Eintracht Frankfurt this season, with Arthur Theate and youngster Nathaniel Brown both currently ahead of him in the pecking order for the left-back spot.
With the 24-year-old Frenchman having made just four starts in the Bundesliga this season, the Eintracht bosses are ready to offload him in the winter transfer window, according to Fussball.news.
Whether Nkounkou leaves in January will depend on the potential offers Eintracht receive for him.
Eintracht reportedly paid €7.5 million to sign the 24-year-old from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2023.
Since then, he has made a total of 54 appearances for the club, racking up three goals and three assists.
