Last summer, Jerome Onguene left RB Salzburg to join Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer.
Having failed to make a single appearance in the first half of the season, the 25-year-old now returns to RB Salzburg on a six-month loan deal, Eintracht have confirmed.
“We are happy about Jerome’s return and are convinced that he can help us. We know him well from the past and appreciate his qualities,” commented RB Salzburg boss Christoph Fruend.
Onguene has featured a total of 111 times for RB Salzburg in the past, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
