As reported by Sky Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt are planning further discussions regarding the possibility of signing 25-year-old central defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart.
The Eintracht Frankfurt remains an interesting project for Mavropanos, who according to Florian Plettenberg, wants to leave Stuttgart in the summer. The Greece international has a contract with VfB until 2025, but they occupy the relegation playoff with just 10 games remaining.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Markus Krösche is also a big fan of Mavropanos and initial talks have already taken place. Die Adler are also preparing for the eventual departure of Evan Ndicka, who has a contract with the Bundesliga side until the end of the season and as of now, is unlikely to sign a contract extension.
As per BILD, Stuttgart have set an asking price of a reported €15m for Mavropanos, a fee that Eintracht may be unable to meet. SGE also recently announced the signing of William Pacho from Royal Antwerp – he will join the Bundesliga side in the summer.
