Fabrizio Romano has reported that Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in Tottenham youngster Romaine Mundle.
Frankfurt is a host of Bundesliga clubs, including 1. FC Köln, who are interested in the winger, whose contract at Tottenham expires in the summer. However, the Premier League side wishes to extend the contract of the 19-year-old and have already offered him a new deal.
Mundle is yet to make a senior appearance for Tottenham and has played 13 times in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring and assisting once.
Frankfurt already has a host of attacking talent at their disposal with the likes of Randal Kolo Muani, Jesper Lindstrøm and Daichi Kamada all having stellar seasons at the club, but the departure of Kamada may potentially open up a place in the starting 11. A club like Köln do not possess out and out wingers, so a signing such as Mundle may benefit them.
