Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in signing Konstantinos Mavropanos from VfB Stuttgart in the summer.
Mavropanos would like to leave Stuttgart in the summer and he could see himself moving to Frankfurt. No contact between the Frankfurt and Stuttgart has been made yet. The 25-year-old’s contract expires in 2025.
However, Frankfurt will struggle to meet the asking price for Mavropanos, as in the winter as a bid of €15 million from Inter Milan was rejected by Stuttgart. A relegation for Stuttgart could make the deal more affordable but Frankfurt will likely have to fight of interest from Atlético Madrid and Inter in the Greece international.
This will be the second centre-back that could arrive in the summer as Frankfurt have all but confirmed the signing of William Pacho from Royal Antwerp in Belgium for €9 million.
Mavropanos has played 22 times for Stuttgart this season scoring twice and assisting once as they currently sit 15th in the Bundesliga.
