Eintracht Frankfurt are looking at boosting their German national team contingent as they have a continuing interest in Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß according to Bild.
Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche is a big fan of the 31-year-old and the two even held a conversation in the summer of 2022 but Groß decided to stay in the Premier League. Groß is seen as a player who can be a reinforcement in midfield behind Hugo Larsson and Ellyes Skhiri with Sebastian Rode set to retire in 2024.
Groß has previously played in the Bundesliga for Ingolstadt and Hoffenheim and has previously stated that he would be open to a return to the league in the future.
The 31-year-old’s contract at Brighton expires in 2025 meaning if he does intend to return to Germany to finish his career and the Seagulls wish to receive some sort of a fee for him then he could be sold in the summer.
