Eintracht Frankfurt have been dealt another injury blow, with Hugo Larsson forced to return to Germany after suffering an injury in training with the Swedish national team, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The exact nature of the central midfielder’s injury is unclear, with Eintracht stating only that he will undergo thorough examinations upon his return.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that another Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder, Farès Chaïbi, will miss out on international duty with Algeria.
The 22-year-old sustained a muscle injury in his thigh during Eintracht’s 1-0 win over Mainz at the weekend.
Die Adler will resume their Bundesliga campaign against 1. FC Köln on November 22.
