Eintracht Frankfurt host PSV Vrouwen on Thursday in the return leg of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup Round of 16 tie. The Frauen-Bundesliga side won the first-leg 2-1 in Eindhoven.

Belgian striker Lore Jacobs’ first-half goal looked to secure a narrow victory for the hosts before Frankfurt scored twice in the last ten minutes. Laura Freigang led by example by netting the equalizer, and Frankfurt’s captain was also on target in the dramatic cup win in Hoffenheim.

Niko Arnautis’ side knocked out fellow Frauen-Bundesliga side with a rollercoaster 6-4 victory. Swiss midfielder Geraldine Reuteler scored a brace to help Frankfurt book a place in the quarter-final of DFB-Pokal Frauen.

Nicole Anyomi, who missed the game in Eindhoven due to illness, marked her return by scoring the sixth goal coming off the bench. The Açıkgöz twins – İlayda and Dilara – came on as substitutes together fifteen minutes before the end of the match.

The winners of the tie will face either Nordsjælland or the Slovenian champions ŽNK Mura in the quarter-final in February 2026. Nordsjælland won the first-leg in Denmark by a single goal.
