Ebimbe mulls over Istanbul move

France’s preeminent sporting publication is currently reporting that versatile Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe may be persuaded to move to Galatasaray Istanbul after the Turkish outfit recently submitted a €10 million offer to the SGE.

Known to be courted by other clubs, Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Eric Junio Dina Ebimbe was reported to have rejected a potential move to Galatasaray Istanbul in recent days after the Turkish Süper Lig champions submitted an offer to the SGE. France’s preeminent sporting publication nevertheless now reports that the 23-year-old’s German club have received a €10 million offer and are more amenable to moving the player.

According to France’s L’Equipé, Ebimbe himself may be amenable to an Eastward move now. After making 44 appearances across all competitions for Frankfurt last year, Ebimbe no longer seems to play a role in SGE trainer Dino Toppmöller’s plans for the coming season. Ebimbe remained unused off the bench in the Pokal and did not make either one of Toppmöller’s match-day squads in the league.

The transfer window in Turkey remains open through tomorrow. Although the French youth international maintains an estimated market worth of €12 million in the latest transfermarkt update, the German RheinmainAdler will ostensibly be willing to cash in on the former PSG academy man they once only paid a reported €6.5 million to acquire on a permanent basis in May of 2023.
