Thomas Tuchel won’t be in the dugout when Bayern Munich take on Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday, as he is suspended after being shown a red card in his side’s last Champions League game of the 2022/23 season, a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
In his absence, assistant coaches Zsolt Löw and Anthony Barry will be on the sidelines during the match.
Löw will be mainly responsible for substitutions and tactical moves during the match at the Allianz Arena. Barry specializes in set pieces.
Tuchel’s closest confidant, Arno Michels, will watch the game from the stands with the head coach.
