Sky Germany reports that Yan Couto’s move from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund has been made permanent.
Back in the summer, Borussia Dortmund announced the signing of Yan Couto on an initial loan deal, with a view to making the move permanent if “certain sporting criteria” were met.
According to Sky Germany, the purchase option has now been activated and Couto has been given a contract until 2029.
The report claims that Dortmund have paid a total of €24 million to sign the right-back from Manchester City.
Since joining Dortmund, Couto has made seven appearances and registered one assist.
