Borussia Dortmund will be without Julian Ryerson when they take on Newcastle United in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Norwegian defender did not travel to England this morning due to illness, the Black and Yellows have confirmed.
Marius Wolf is expected to start at right-back for Edin Terzic’s side in Ryerson’s absence.
Ryerson, 25, has made nine appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring twice.
Going into Wednesday’s match, Dortmund sit at the bottom of Group F with one point.
