Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund reserves coach Enrico Maaßen is set to be named new Augsburg coach after the two clubs have reached a verbal agreement on the transfer of the 38-year-old.
Borussia Dortmund reserves coach Enrico Maaßen is reportedly poised to be appointed new Augsburg coach.
According to Bild, Dortmund and Augsburg have verbally agreed on a transfer that will see the 38-year-old make the switch to WWK Arena.
Per the German tabloid, Augsburg will pay a fixed transfer fee of €300.000 plus potential add-ons to sign Maaßen, who is expected to sign a three-year deal.
Augsburg have been looking for a new head coach since Markus Weinzierl announced his departure following the last Bundesliga game of the season.
